About the role
ATB’s next Capability Enablement Advisor will support and execute the delivery of Everyday Financial Services (EFS) foundational systems and technological priorities, directly influencing the growth and direction of EFS. The incumbent is a strong individual contributor with an innate curiosity to look beyond the obvious. This individual will support EFS in discovery, planning, implementation and adoption of direct-to-consumer (D2C) technology, like ATB Business web & mobile banking, Virtual Assistant, and Telephone Banking. They will accelerate the work with a thorough understanding of EFS systems, tools, processes and requirements while making data driven decisions to ensure delivered solutions create value and exceptional experiences for team members and clients.
Accountabilities
The incumbent is responsible for balancing individual work while ensuring EFS realizes the benefits needed to progress our business strategy. The role requires problem solving, expert translation skills, constructive collaboration, effective communication, and strong relationships among teams in EFS, Client Experience & Technology (CXT), and ATB Business.
Capability Enablement Advisor accountabilities include:
- Represent EFS as a stakeholder and SME among technology projects. Drive consistency across all digital channels, influence change and achieve results that are aligned with EFS’s strategic direction by improving the overall team member and client experience.
- Perform current state analysis and market research to identify pain points, gaps, and growth opportunities.
- Prepare presentations, business cases for, and facilitate meetings to senior leadership.
- Document and maintain processes, maps, user guides (ATB Knowledge), business cases and/or decision records.
- Review, improve, support, eliminate and create new processes for the business that focus on digitization or eliminating friction.
- Make data driven decisions in order to maintain the momentum of a project or to execute on a process change.
- Lead the implementation of solutions and, at times, coordinate, liaise and lead cohorts of EFS team members (SMEs), in order to investigate, analyze, design, develop, test and execute including change plans in service to the project or initiative.
- Connect and collaborate with various groups to communicate, provide guidance, deliver internal training, gain support or influence decisions to implement processes and changes that improve team member and client experience.
- Proactively report on completion of tasks, project status, and results to identify if project objectives are on track to be realized.
Skills, experience & requirements
As the ideal candidate you possess:
- 7+ years of project delivery experience, ideally within the financial service industry and/or delivery of D2C software.
- Relevant professional designation such as Business Analysis, Project Management, Six Sigma, Agile Methodology, Lean Methodology.
- Strong analytical, strategic and critical thinking skills with the ability to think through, deliver and create exceptional, consistent, end-to-end client and team member experiences and solutions, through a data driven digital approach.
- Proficiency in ATB’s core systems and tools used by EFS, such as ATB Business, Team Member Console, MCAT, Cardhub, Genesys, GliaHub, and the Google Suite.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of EFS processes, and/or the ability and desire to become an expert in the intricacies of end to end processes and how they relate and interconnect including any downstream impacts for each project/initiative in order to effectively represent and execute for EFS.
- Expert translator of technical information into a format that is relevant and meaningful for the business audience in order to effectively deliver content.
- Strong business acumen that supports the strategic and financial goals of EFS and ATB.
- Experienced in delivering and executing high quality work on firm delivery timelines and quickly adapt to new challenges and continuous changes.
- Expert in communication and negotiation skills along with the ability to network and cultivate productive working relationships with ATB business partners.
- Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills. Ability to both work independently and lead a group of peers while balancing multiple deliverables, initiatives and projects.
- Expert knowledge of partners responsibilities and accountabilities, in order to build appropriate working teams/horizontals to effectively deliver on a mutual goal.
