Description:
Ayrton Group are seeking a highly motivated and safety conscious individual to act as EHS Advisor for our client, a leading system software company. This is a part-time (3 day) on-site position based at their location in Dublin City.
The EHS Advisor will work to create and enforce a culture of safety within the office, as they support the client in all Health & Safety projects and initiatives.
This is an initial 12 month contract role with the potential for extension.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Recognised qualification in Health and Safety required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Safety required.
- Experience in tech facility environments would be beneficial.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
- You must be legally permitted to live and work in Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the workplace to ensure compliance with Company Health & Safety requirements, ensuring a safe and secure workplace for employees, visitors, vendors, and guests.
- Overseeing completion of construction projects in the office and assisting with safety audits of construction processes.
- Completing ergonomic evaluations and providing recommendations for workstation improvement.
- Supporting Health & Safety incident investigations in all capacities from start to finish, including investigating accidents and incidents, recommending corrective actions, and tracking incident metrics.
- Conducting risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards including driving remediation of any identified safety gaps.
- Developing and implementing safety procedures.
- Developing and delivering training programs on Health & Safety procedures as appropriate.
- Preparing and maintaining Health & Safety records and documentation.
- Compiling and analysing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Staying up to date on EHS regulations and industry best practices.
- Working with other departments to ensure compliance with EHS requirements.
