JOB TITLE: EHS ADVISOR

We are currently seeking an ambitious and proven EHS Advisor to join our team in Cork. As an EHS Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise in areas such as Process Safety, Occupational Safety, or Occupational Hygiene. You will be responsible for supporting the development and coordination of our effective EHS Management System, ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation and corporate policies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience as an EHS professional in the Pharma industry on a primary manufacturing facility
  • Thorough knowledge of process plant operations
  • Sound understanding of EHS legislation and cGMP requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge in the specific field of expertise
  • Familiarity with critical business functions on site and global quality policies

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise in at least one of the following areas: Process Safety, Occupational Safety, or Occupational Hygiene
  • Support the development of policies, procedures, and EHS documentation
  • Assist in maintaining an up-to-date Register of Legislation
  • Conduct EHS inspections, surveys, and audits
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, completing necessary documentation
  • Coordinate and lead the implementation of key EHS projects and systems
  • Represent the site on corporate and trade groups
  • Provide input to the site Technology Transfer team for new product introductions
  • Take responsibility for the organization and coordination of the Risk Assessment program
  • Act as a subject matter authority for process safety, including COMAH/Seveso III requirements
  • Ensure maintenance of key process safety documents and completion of necessary reviews and studies
  • Support occupational hygiene and ergonomics initiatives
  • Provide safety support to labs on site
  • Develop and implement the site ergonomics program
  • Deliver training as required
