REQUIREMENTS

Our EHS department is looking for someone with the following skills:

  • Health and safety degree or similar;
  • A 2-3 years’ experience in a Health & Safety department;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French, German are a distinct advantage.
  • Well-versed in MS applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and advanced in Excel;
  • Confidence to work in teams and autonomously;
  • Be methodical and organized in your work;
  • Good problem solving and listening skills;
  • Basic knowledge in safety management system (ISO 45001) and safety local legislation.

Responsibilities:

To join our Health & Safety & Environment department, we are currently looking for a EHS Assistant (F/M).

Reporting to the EHS Manager, your main duties are the following:

  • Provide assistance to Safety Manager in developing the safety culture on site through safety projects;
  • Participate in the creation of safety documents in order to continuously improve the company’s documentation system (IMS);
  • Assist in the follow-up of corrective safety actions with departments concerned;
  • Support all departments in their activities with safety recommendations and guidance;
  • Organize and/or participate in EHS audits to identify potentially dangerous situations;
  • Must encourage all staff and external companies to respect and follow the company’s safety rules by being present in the various departments;
  • Conduct accident analyses and determining appropriate actions to prevent recurrence;
  • Contribute to the compliance of the site with Luxembourg health and safety legislation;
  • Prepare required safety performance reports and monitoring safety indicators;
  • Inspect the site for unsafe conditions and practices and take appropriate corrective actions to correct all observed problems;
  • Provide safety induction training for all new employees, temporary workers, trainees and external companies.
