Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
You’ll develop and manage comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs for our facility, ensuring we meet all legal standards. Your role involves analyzing working conditions and their impact on both the environment and employee health. Additionally, you’ll provide technical support as needed and report directly to the EHS Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
- Handles straightforward health and safety issues, including comprehensive risk assessments for both operational and administrative areas.
- Offers technical expertise and support as needed.
- Enhances safety protocols through detailed safety report evaluations and improvements.
- Creates, implements, and maintains the Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) program to promote a safer workplace.
- Oversees the emergency program for Philips Costa Rica and supports operational transfers with EHS-related issues. Investigates first aid incidents, lost workday cases, and near misses.
