EHS Engineer

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently looking for EHS Engineer to join our team in Luxembourg. In this position you will:

• Provide leadership, influence, coaching, advice and technical expertise at every level of the organization in the management of EHS activities.
• Coach and influence leadership to implement Global EHS strategy onsite, adapting site specificities (equipment, culture, risks etc.) by proposing annual action plan, KPI.
• Implement, maintain and audit all EHS programs, ensuring a proper ownership, accountability and sustainability for each of them.
• Be partner with operations to keep professional and environmental risks under an acceptable level through risk assessment, equipment upgrade project, training, organizational change etc. (Act as Travailleur Designe for Luxembourg sites).
• Investigate all incidents (accidents, near misses, …) with appropriate stakeholders, coordinate countermeasures and implement preventive measures from other sites lessons learnt.
• Follow up applicable regulation, inform all stakeholders accordingly and team with them to propose action plan to ensure compliance of operations and infrastructure.

EDUCATION:

The candidate should have a Master Degree in Environment Health and Safety.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years previous experience in Industrial Environment.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Designated Worker Group C desired.
• Strong EHS technical knowledge on one of the following: Machine safety, Chemical Management, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics.
• Strong communication, capability to explain and teach complex concepts.
• Ability to influence others.
