Based in Lodz, Poland, the main goal of the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager is defining and executing the EHS Strategy in the close cooperation with the Site Leader and EHS Europe Director.
This position is accountable for providing the constant support for the facility to assure organizational stability, and long-term growth and development through maintaining and continuous improvement of all EHS regulations, procedures and rules: (local regulations, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA, Emerson standards).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

Having previous management experience in the field will be considered a plus.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Defining and executing the EHS Strategy for the plant located in Lodz, monitoring & achieving the yearly EHS targets and implementing the improvement plans,
• Implementing activities, programs and strategies aimed at preventing accidents and harms, improving employee health and well-being and best practices in the field of environmental protection,
• Supervision of continuous improvement in Health & Safety, Environment as a part of Integrated Management System ( ISO 45001, ISO 14001), planning and conducting internal audits; representing the company with third-party audits,
• Effective management of the EHS team,
• Inspections of the work conditions and compliance with EHS rules and ongoing information to superiors about identified non-conformities and risks,
• Proper supervision of EHS documentation,
  Fulfillment of the tasks of the OHS service in accordance with the provisions of Polish law.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• Proven record in coordinating complex EHS activities with distributed teams
• Proven record in working in production environments.
• Full professional proficiency in Polish and conversational level in English
• Minimum 5 years in the section related to management of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001; at least 2 years in a managerial position
• Educational degree in Health & Safety or relevant fieldOwned permissions / certificates: legal Health & Safety permissions
