Description:

We are currently working with an established property management client who is looking for a EHS and QA/QC Director

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Engineering, Building, or a related discipline.
  • Specialist Diploma in WSH or Safety Officer Training Course (SOTC).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in WSH.
  • Internal Auditor Training in ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001.
  • Experience with the BCA CONQUAS system.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and methods.
  • Proven track record in delivering successful construction projects.
  • Knowledge of current construction laws, standards, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with EHS requirements across all sites.
  • Administer EHS resources to assist business development efforts, address QEHS queries from potential clients.
  • Ensure compliance with QEHS requirements in tender documents.
  • Recommend penalties and improvements for subcontractors who do not adhere to QA/EHS standards.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of the QEHS system to align with company requirements.
  • Support sites with updates on statutory rules, regulations, and standards.
  • Raise awareness of QEHS matters through training and education.
  • Monitor corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Compile summaries of administrative levies related to QEHS issues for each project.
  • Plan and coordinate safety-related training for staff and subcontractors.
  • Attend and contribute to various safety and quality meetings, including those with WSHC, MOM, SCAL, and liaise with government bodies on QEHS matters.
  • Provide weekly site updates to the Managing Director.
  • Source and approve safety equipment for subcontractors.
  • Finalize administrative levies and approve QEHS-related training.
  • Select and approve external auditors for QEHS systems.
  • Authorize safety promotions and events and introduce new QEHS measures.
  • Ensure resources are dedicated to implementing ISO management system requirements.
  • Review QEHS objectives and performance annually.
  • Develop measures to address QEHS issues and establish relevant policies and programs.
