Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The role of the Electrical Instrumentation and Control Engineer (EIC) involves providing technical support for electrical and control projects within the screw compressor division. Key responsibilities include designing, selecting, and verifying components, creating hardware and software designs, testing and commissioning systems, and collaborating with teams to improve manufacturing and supply chain performance.

WHAT WILL YOU DO…

  • Technical support role for electrical and control department for projects and products
  • Planning of contract electrical and control design activities to achieve project and department deadlines
  • Specification/selection/verification of major components
  • Creation and control of hardware and software design for projects and products
  • Creation and control of instructions for manufacture, assembly and test
  • Factory and site testing and commissioning including demonstration of control systems to clients
  • Review and advise corrective actions for manufacture, assembly and test issues.
  • Use Continuous Improvement methodologies to promote Built in Engineering Quality concepts into Standard work. Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Commercial and Procurement teams to drive improved manufacturing and supply chain performance and early defect detection.
  • Ensure adherence to company environmental, health and safety standards in compliance with company policies to ensure a safe working environment and the minimisation of environmental impact
