Description:

This position is based at our Luxembourg headquarters and require regular office presence. The EIB offers you the opportunity to live and work in a truly international and multi-cultural environment.
The EIB, the European Union’s bank, is seeking to recruit for its Finance Directorate (FI) – Planning and Settlement of Operations Department (PRO) – Transaction Processing Division (TP) – Money and Securities Markets Unit (MSM), at its headquarters in Luxembourg: TRAINEE
Duration: 5 months (fixed start date: 1st March/April 2025)

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

  • Final year of studies or University degree in the field of Computer science, Finance or Operations
  • Good knowledge of Power BI, excel and macros. Visual basic and programming experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of LEAN methodology is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Knowledge of French and other EU languages would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

Propose and Develop Visual KPIs Dashboard:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive visual dashboard for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), covering 2 divisions. Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze necessary data inputs from various sources
  • Process and organize the data to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Develop a summary dashboard using Power BI & Excel, incorporating visual elements such as charts and graphs to effectively communicate key insights
  • Ensure the dashboard is user-friendly and can be easily updated with new data.

Optimize Team’s Outlook Folder Structure:

  • Improve the organization and efficiency of the team’s Outlook folder structure. Tasks:
  • Assess the current folder structure and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Create and implement various routing rules, macros, and conditional formatting to automate and streamline email management
  • Provide training and support to team members on the new folder structure and tools.
  • Monitor and adjust the system as needed to ensure ongoing efficiency.

Assist the review of the current model and update existing documentation to enhance efficiency. Tasks:

  • Update and enrich existing documentation, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather feedback and incorporate best practices.
