Description:

The EIB, the European Union’s bank, is seeking to recruit for its Portfolio Management & Monitoring Directorate (PMM) – Transaction Management Department (TM) – Funds and Co-Investments Division (FCID) – EU Funds and Co-Investments Unit (EU FUNDS), at its headquarters in Luxembourg: TRAINEE
Duration: 5 months (fixed start date: 1st March/April 2025)

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

  • Final year of studies or University degree oriented towards Business, Finance or Economics;
  • Analytical skills; prior experience with financial analysis, financial modeling or valuation would be considered an asset;
  • Ability to use the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) effectively and efficiently;
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English and/or French and a solid understanding of the other.

Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Interaction with internal and external counterparts in relation to data collection and the production of notes / reports;
  • Ensuring data quality through data collection, processing and analysis;
  • Assisting the team with fund handover (from the origination team to the PMM team) and wind down events;
  • Assisting the team in the review and streamlining of the fund handover procedure and templates
  • Assisting the team with the preparation of fund Annual General Meetings (AGMs)
  • Actively supporting the team with scheduled or ad-hoc reporting requests and event resolutions.
