JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Senior Electrical and Electronics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing sophisticated designs and systems. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed 2D and 3D designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring technical specifications are met. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in electrical and electronic engineering, robotics, and coding, with experience in regulated industries, particularly the medical field, being a significant advantage.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in CAD design, robotics, and coding, including API integration.
• Strong background in the design and development of integrated circuits (ICs).
• Experience in the medical field, particularly with regulated products, is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Fusion 360.
• Strong understanding of material science and its applications in product design.
• Hands-on experience with regulatory compliance and testing (CE, UKCA, FCC, IC Marking).
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Adaptability to fast-paced, innovative environments with a commitment to staying current with industry advancements.

• CAD Design & Development:
• Create detailed 2D and 3D designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Fusion 360.
• Develop technical drawings and schematics for electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
• Integration & Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine designs and integrate cutting-edge technology into projects.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of robotics, coding, APIs, and IC development for seamless integration.
• Testing & Analysis:
• Analyse and validate designs to ensure adherence to safety, functionality, and technical specifications.
• Support and oversee regulatory testing, including CE, UKCA, FCC, and IC Marking compliance.
• Innovative Design:
• Design and develop integrated circuits (ICs) for advanced product functionality.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, incorporating new technologies and practices into your work.
• Medical Field Expertise:
• Apply knowledge of regulated environments and develop solutions for healthcare applications, where applicable.
• Documentation & Updates:
• Maintain thorough project documentation, including technical records and design updates.
