We are recruiting to fill the position below:
JOB DESCRIPTION
- As an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer with Andster Engineering, you will be responsible for contributing to the design and implementation of electrical systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, regulatory standards.
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineer, automation engineer and project managers to deliver high quality solutions on time and within budget.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience required in engineering or related fields.
- Proficiency in electrical engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW, ETAP, SKM Power Tools) and instrumentation software (e.g., PLC programming software, SCADA systems).
- Solid understanding of electrical and instrumentation principles, including circuit theory, power systems, electronics, control systems, sensors, transmitters, actuators and electromagnetism.
- Ability to design, analyze, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations governing electrical engineering practices (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license may be required or preferred for certain roles, particularly those involving public safety or government contracts.
- Specific industry certifications or credentials related to specialized areas of electrical engineering may also be beneficial.
- Experience with industrial automation systems, such as PLCs, DCS, and HMI/SCADA systems.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components, including power distribution systems, control systems, and circuitry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of electrical systems with other project elements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during the development and implementation phases.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering technology.
- Manage coordination and execution of electrical engineering projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed projects.
- Perform calculations and simulations to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, and reports.
- Follow safety protocols and practices related to electrical systems on projects.
