Description:
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the paper manufacturing and recycling sector in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the electrical and instrumentation operations within our facility, ensuring efficient and safe production processes. As a key member of our management team, you will lead a skilled workforce, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality. Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the electrical and instrumentation team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards. - Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance programs for all electrical and instrumentation equipment to minimize downtime and improve reliability. - Conduct regular inspections and assessments of electrical and instrumentation systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. - Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation issues, working closely with maintenance and operations teams to resolve problems efficiently. - Lead training sessions for team members on best practices in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, ensuring all staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. - Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support the design and installation of new equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Monitor and analyze the performance of electrical and instrumentation systems, preparing reports and making recommendations for enhancements. - Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies, promoting sustainable practices in all electrical and instrumentation operations. - Participate in budget planning and control for electrical and instrumentation projects, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. - Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the electrical and instrumentation department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field. - Must have back-ground in recycling paper machines, it is a must - Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation supervision, preferably in the paper manufacturing or recycling industry. - Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintenance. - Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of technicians and engineers. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential issues. - Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with various teams across the organization. - Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering tools. - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
