Haynes is actively seeking Experienced Mechanical Fitters for various positions we have available in Mackay and surrounds.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant Trades Qualification
• A valid Driver’s Licence
• Working Safely at Heights ticket
• High-Risk Work Licence – Work Platform
• Sound Mechanical Knowledge is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.

• Install new overhead crane systems according to engineering specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct Routine inspections and preventative maintenance on overhead crane equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues with overhead crane systems and implement appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs on overhead crane components, including hoists, trolleys, brakes, motors and controls.
