Responsibilities:
- Preparation, planning and scheduling of maintenance works on MIT Electrical and Utilities assets.
- Managing contracts and contractors to ensure assets and systems perform to required levels, and assist with minor capital project works.
- Project management and delivery, contract management, cost control, customer service, health and safety. Role includes involvement in writing business cases, tendering and evaluation.
- Managing minor projects on building alterations, upgrades and fit-outs, and renewal of electrical and utilities plant and equipment.
- With hands-on approach the incumbent will have regular site presence to ensure delivery is being done to plan and safety is in place, always.
- Facilitate information on all electrical and utilities assets, coordinate tests and power outages, while balancing operational excellence and cost effectiveness across the MIT property portfolio
