Your role
As an Electrical Automation Designer you will specify, design, integrate & test electrical designs, and infrastructures which you finally deliver to our customers. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including the (system) architect, (system) designers, integrators, and other specialists, to ensure high-quality, innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical solutions and infrastructures based on requirements from the system architect, electrical architect, technology platform architects or system designer.
- Integrate and test electrical designs in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Select concepts, technologies and components applying structured methods.
- Collaborate with external development and manufacturing partners.
- Manage requirements, write specifications and reports
- Document and Archive all deliverables
- Apply methodologies such as PSDM, 8D, DFMEA, and Design for Six Sigma
- Plan work using Agile methodologies (Program Increments Events, Refinements).
- Use Model-Based Design techniques to support your work.
- Contribute to the electrical architectural runway to support electrical enablers/features in an Agile environment.
What are we looking for?
You are a pragmatic, results-driven professional with a solid theoretical foundation, eager to learn about and apply the latest technologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4-8 years of experience in designing and engineering multidisciplinary industrial systems.
- Ability to work across various abstraction levels while maintaining a clear overview.
- Knowledge of power distribution, power supplies, Industrial communications (CANBus, Ethernet, Profinet, AS-I, I-O Link, etc.), sensors, encoders, vision systems, motors, embedded controllers, etc.
- Expertise with industry norms and standards like UL, CE, EMC, and ESD.
- Experience with electrical design software (e.g. Eplan).
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Growth mindset with a focus on personal and professional development.

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 6100 to € 7300 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
