Responsibilities:

We are on the hunt for a Contracts Manager with experience in the electrical or construction industry. A typical day in the role will involve doing the following:

  • Prepare and negotiate contracts with customers for commercial electrical work.
  • Liaise with the customer throughout performance of the contract, including proposing, negotiating, and agreeing to variations where required
  • Manage all financial aspects of contracts through ongoing job forecasting.
  • Oversee pre-construction meetings to ensure successful handoff from estimating to field.
  • Negotiate and resolve all customer concerns and manage contract dispute processes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, prefabrication, and design departments.
  • Set clear goals and expectations to site and oversee service delivery by contractors and Elecflight employees.
  • Maintain records and report on contract performance and execution to Elecflight management
  • Ensure contract terms and execution comply with legislation
  • When necessary, estimate change orders for assigned projects.
  • Conduct post contract reviews to determine areas for future improvement.
  • Develop/maintain network of professional relationships within our industry.
  • Undertaking project tasks as required.
  • Customer liaising and future prospecting.
