Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of permitting experience required
  • 2 years of permitting experience preferred
  • Experience with Electrical companies, home services, or construction preferred
  • Desire to learn and grow
  • Strong organizational and management skills, ability to prioritize and execute
  • Ability to read blueprints preferred
  • Urgency to get task completed in a timely manner

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working with sales, engineering, and operational managers to ensure timely preparation of permit packages
  • Submit permits to municipalities and coordinate revisions as necessary
  • Monitor progression and status of permits to help team plan installation schedule
  • Coordinate all paperwork and scheduling from sale to completion of installs
  • Act as a liaison between the company and each municipality to obtain inspections
  • Maintain all company files relating to site plan applications, approvals, licenses, permits, and registration
  • Monitor and inform team of changes in permitting requirements and processes
  • Assist the team in other administrative and operational capacities as needed
