YOUR CAPABILITIES AND CREDENTIALS

  • Successfully completed power system courses in undergraduate study.
  • Understanding of general concepts of relevant areas of power system study and electrical design.
  • Proficient in programming languages, such as python.
  • Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Developing cooperative skills in working efficiently with a team.
  • Self-starter able to work independently given appropriate guidance and direction.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field & EIT.
  • Co-op/Internship experience preferred.
    Position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some field work.

Responsibilities:

  • Uses knowledge of the general concepts of relevant electrical engineering elements including the study and design of power systems, substations and HVDC converter stations.
  • Assists team in preparing drawings, reports and technical specifications. Conducts basic calculations and performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
