Description:

Job Description:
We currently have an opening for an Electrical Engineer in our Victoria office. Responsibilities include analysis, design, testing, and commissioning of power supply and distribution systems installations. Installations may include motor control centres, drives, backup power systems, safety systems, lighting including street lighting, and all other associated work related to infrastructure and buildings and facilities projects. You will interact with process and control disciplines and oversee the team during drawing production and prepare specifications for systems to be included in tender and construction packages.

Job Requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • 2+ years of experience.
  • Registered, or eligibility for registration as an E.I.T. or P.Eng. with EGBC
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities and ability to work independently
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a complex environment, dealing with multiple projects and clients
  • Experience in marketing and business development
  • Thorough understanding of lighting and electrical layouts, single line diagrams, and local and national and international codes and regulations
  • Committed team player and self-motivated
  • Experience with Revit MEP and Elecdes Suite is valued
  • Site inspection of electrical installations
  • Proven technical skills and attention to detail
  • Possess sound written and verbal communication skills as demonstrated through client and staff relations

The salary range for this position is $72,800.00 to $104,000.00 and is commensurate with experience relative to this position.
