POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and supporting electrical systems for CES Corporation’s line of products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in electrical system design, testing, or maintenance. Experience in data center infrastructure is a plus.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or equivalent design software.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, CSA).
- Hands-on experience with medium to high-voltage systems, transformers, and power distribution equipment.
- Ability to read and create wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits and testing.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge of immersion cooling technologies and related electrical challenges.
- Experience with HPC datacenters and applicable electrical systems within.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and validate electrical systems for modular data center products, including power distribution units (PDUs), transformers, and breaker panels.
- Assist with the integration of smart power technologies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical and automation, to ensure seamless system integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the design, manufacturing, and site installation phases.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, test procedures, and maintenance protocols.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and regulatory standards to drive continuous improvement in product design and performance.
