Based in Melbourne and working onsite with our team, you will report directly to our General Manager. Your role will involve collaborating with customers across various industries to understand their electrical requirements and deliver innovative solutions. This includes designing, developing and managing equipment and systems for generating, distributing, utilising and controlling electrical power.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in a similar role highly desirable
- Highly desirable experience or exposure in instrumentation and calibration
- Ability to work autonomously both in the office and onsite
- Degree or diploma in engineering or a related field
- Hands on operator who is a team player
- A “Can Do Attitude” and ability to be a self-starter
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full working rights in Australia
- Driven and curious mindset always finding ways of improving the quality of your work

Responsibilities:
· Mounting sensor and electrical equipment in designated locations ensuring proper alignment and positioning for optimal performance
· Developing products such as electrical furnaces, components and electrical ovens
· Determining the type and arrangement of circuits, transformers, circuit-breakers, transmission lines, heating elements and other equipment
· Interpreting specifications, drawings, standards, and regulations relating to electrical power equipment and use
· Designing and manufacturing temperature sensors and level detecting equipment
· Overseeing the manufacturing process from raw materials to final assembly
· Conducting testing and calibration procedures to validate sensor performance including various operating conditions (temperature range, humidity and vibration)
· Troubleshooting temperature sensors, electrical furnace and ovens and address any issues that may arise
· Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure the integrity of products
