QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering supplemented with relevant training and experience in electronics.
  • Knowledge of EMC and high-speed design.
  • Over 5 years of experience with electrical design (over 3 years if including PCB layout).
  • Speaks and writes English fluently.

YOUR ROLE

The Medior Electrical Development Engineer is responsible for contributing to the electrical design and PCB layout of systems and products for the BU-COM, PA, and Conference business lines. This role involves designing electronic circuits based on agreed specifications and ensuring designs are efficient and reliable.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design electronic circuits under the supervision of a (system) Architect or a senior Electrical Development Engineer based on agreed specifications and functional requirements.
  • Develop and layout PCBs in close cooperation with electrical and mechanical engineers.
  • Maintain and extend knowledge about PCB design rules, including high-speed design and manufacturing requirements.
  • Perform simulation and analysis of electrical designs (e.g., thermal, tolerance analysis).
  • Test products and evaluate results.
  • Modify existing products as necessary.
  • Contribute to the creation of all relevant Technical Product Documentation (TPD) and test reports.
  • Perform work in line with agreed design processes and tools within the department.
