Description:

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - MINNEAPOLIS, MN (ONSITE REQUIRED)

This exciting opportunity is with one of our major defense industry clients, is a 1 year contract position with high potential for extension and/or conversion. Due to being in the defense industry, this position requires US Citizenship (sorry, no exceptions)
Max hourly rate depending on qualifications is $59.93 hourly on W2. (contracts do not include benefits)
The Electrical Engineer supports the development, testing, fabrication, and fielding of highly complex military equipment.

EDUCATION:

Typically requires 3+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field or 2+ years with a Master’s degree

Responsibilities:

  • Researches, plans, designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic and electrical systems and components.
  • Utilizing advanced modeling and analysis tools to develop product specifications, models, simulations, technical data packages, and integration and verification procedures.
  • Evaluates vendor capabilities, technologies, services and their ability to deliver required products or services
  • The qualified candidate will work under general direction of a project engineering lead to perform electrical system design on a variety of military systems, ranging from combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions.
  • The Electrical Engineer provides detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems for military product application
