Description:
Job Overview:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be involved in all phases of the brewer engine design, from sustaining existing designs to developing new designs for future products. Your day-to-day activities will be diverse, often including projects such as paper and lab analysis of existing designs, customer return analysis, and the electro-mechanic design of pumps, valves, actuators, along with lab verification and validation of new designs. You will also assist with testing for safety and regulatory compliance.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- High volume consumer electronics/appliances experience preferred.
- Knowledge of scientific method, basic statistics, and experimentation.
- Familiarity with electro-mechanical parts such as air pumps, valves, motors, etc.
- Software/firmware programming in C/C++ is a plus.
- Exposure to agile development techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical components for brewer product functionality.
- Design and implement control systems for electromechanical components such as pumps, valves, and actuators.
- Develop and maintain wiring harnesses and ensure proper integration with control systems.
- Instrument prototypes to collect signals and improve state machine control.
- Maintain and upgrade current beverage brewing systems.
- Conduct root cause investigations of brewer issues and design, implement, and verify corrective actions.
- Select and verify low-cost and reliable electro-electronic components for high-volume brewer production.
- Partner with Asia-based manufacturing partners to transition designs to volume production.
- Develop learning plans to close knowledge gaps.
- Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for modules and components.
- Ensure project development activities are completed on time, meeting all requirements, including cost, quality, and performance targets to support project plans and execution.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Utilize predictive validation methodologies in concept, design, and product validation stages.
- Designate high contributing factors toward each function as a Special Characteristic.
- Drive the measurement and documentation of the special characteristics of physical prototypes.
