The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Santa Clara, CA is $89,900 - $166,900. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.

The Electrical Engineer III, within the Roche Sequencing Solutions Division, will contribute to (and potentially lead) the design, development, and integration of electrical subsystems for next generation sequencing systems and custom equipment. These systems consist of fluidic, mechatronic, pneumatic, thermal, and optical subsystems and play a critical role in highly automated DNA sequencing pipelines and other diagnostic applications.
- You will define and refine requirements; generate system architecture; select and evaluate components; and design custom PCBAs and wiring harnesses.
- You will oversee system level assembly, testing and troubleshooting.
- You will develop firmware and/or working closely with firmware and software engineers on all bring-up and integration efforts
