About the role
As an Electrical Engineer at GROPYUS you will be working on the development of our building product, the standardization of processes, and the support for delivery of projects. GROPYUS sets a strong focus on sustainability, and the design of the building’s energy concepts and electrical technology are a central part of it. You will be working in an interdisciplinary team of experts in building design, digitalization, production, and construction site management. GROPYUS offers unique opportunities like the Prototyping Center at our factory, industrialized Product Series Management, bottom-up Cost- and Sustainability-Engineering, and a data-first approach with a strong Tech team.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Electrical and building-automation engineering for the GROPYUS Building Product with focus on sustainability, prefabrication, standardization, and design automation
• Implementation of state-of-the-art solutions in our residential Building Product, ready for tendering, production and construction
• Constant and controlled evolution of the Product within the Series- and Change-Management
• Work closely with the extended Building System Team with design disciplines like Architecture, Structure, Building Physics, Acoustics, Fire Protection
• Opt to become a sustainability ambassador who strenghtens the link of the expert teams to the Sustainability Team
• Collaborate with the GROPYUS Prototyping Center at our factory to specify and supervise physical tests, with external design-consultants, and external development partners/suppliers
• Contribute to the improvement of our Digital Value Chain through design-standardization and -automation in close collaboration with the Product and Technology Teams
• Design for user centricity, manufacturing and assembly, sustainability, and cost
