Description:
The Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving the design, maintenance, and operational excellence of high-voltage electrical systems. You will lead complex projects, ensure the reliability and safety of our systems, and contribute to innovative power solutions, including integrating renewable energy technologies.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and plan power stations, substations, and transmission lines.
· Specify and select transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and other equipment.
· Conduct load flow analysis, short-circuit studies, and protective relay coordination.
· Supervise high-voltage routine testing and substation handover processes.
· Monitor and optimize distribution network performance.
· Integrate renewable energy sources and smart grid technologies into existing systems.
· Organize planned maintenance and lead emergency fault repairs.
· Execute advanced projects, such as live-line replacements and uninterrupted power supply systems.
· Mentor and lead engineering teams to achieve operational excellence.
· Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure system reliability.
Qualifications and Skills
· At least a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
· Extensive experience in high-voltage testing, substation maintenance, and power system design.
· Strong knowledge of renewable energy integration and smart grid technologies.
· Proficiency in diagnostic tools and advanced maintenance protocols.
· Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.
· Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
