We have an immediate opening for an Electrical Engineer to be part of a team to resolve issues with, design updates if needed and evaluate automated test equipment used for Torpedo testing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or systems engineering
  • Ability to review and understand system drawings and schematics.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Experience with large magnitude test equipment a plus.
  • Experience using NII LabView and Test Stand a plus.
    Candidate must have or be able to obtain a government security clearance to the level of SECRET.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and debug complex hardware/firmware test set to ensure that it is operating in accordance with the requirements and as designed.
  • Evaluate system wiring.
  • Evaluate and design Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).
  • Participate in design verification testing of hardware and software against requirements.
  • Trouble shoot/resolve issues documented as problem reports, recommend solutions.
  • Debug code and write scripts in NII Test Stand that test the signal path and loads.
  • Update and maintain system schematics, wire list diagrams, and documentation ensuring they are always current and reflect any updates integrated into the system.
