StandardAero is seeking a motivated, eager, and innovative student looking to join our Electrical Engineering Team in Winnipeg MB CA for the 2025 summer term.
As an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILL/EXPERIENCE):

  • Good understanding of basic engineering principles: asking questions, problem-solving and be willing to learn and work in a collaborative setting
  • Basic knowledge of computer and MS Office
  • Must have completed 1st year of Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace studies

Responsibilities:

StandardAero is seeking Engineering students for summer term positions (4 or 8 months) to support StandardAero’s production and growth projects. This work may include activities as listed below:

  • Develop repairs for engine components.
  • Reprocess cost evaluation and recommendations for reduction
  • Develop repair on non-conforming parts
  • Perform technical manual reviews
  • Review tooling requirements and implement into shop
  • Write technical reports and procedures.
  • Coordinate process improvement initiatives.
  • Create electronic manual revisions.
  • Perform engine performance analysis.
  • Find alternative cleaning, plating, thermal spraying and coatings methods
  • Assist in engine and accessories troubleshooting
  • Other projects as assigned
