Reporting to the Senior Site Electrical Engineer, the role of the Electrical Engineering Supervisor is to undertake activities relating to site electrical infrastructure and associated installation, maintenance and compliance activities. To support electrical project engineering and maintenance activities and other peer group requirements. To act as deputy to the Senior Site Electrical Engineer.

• Under general direction, ensures that electrical infrastructure compliant to all relevant regulations regarding technical aspects (legal and GMP)
• Ensure necessary inventories of equipment and supplies are available
• Oversee activities of technicians and contractors assigned to work areas to assure compliance with company, state, and federal agency guidelines
• Manage vendors, external employees or contract workers
• Schedule and Undertake corrective and planned electrical maintenance
• Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and manage multiple contracts with external vendors performing electrical design, installation , and maintenance

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Meet the requirements for registration with the Engineering Council as EngTech
Hold (or working towards) registration with professional institution.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

3-5 years experience of Electrical Engineering in manufacturing maintenance programme.
Strong communication skills with customers, design teams, contractors, and management Action oriented skills; ability to learn on the fly
Good problem solving, technical learning, time management and prioritizing skills
Knowledge of Trimble / Amtech ProDesign and fast Test software desirable.
Knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facility
