Electrical Facility Engineer

Mission and Main Objectives:
Provide technical support & deliver facility projects for both Current & New Model Activities within the Trim & Chassis function while maintaining the shop performance requirements.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Experience of working in a technical support role within a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of industrial PLC systems, control equipment, motor drives, safety and networked systems
Proven skills in project management and contractor control
Team player with good communication skills
Able to deliver technical projects on cost and within agreed schedules
Analytical & logical approach to problem solving
Awareness Machine legislation & Standards and ATEX requirements
Understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental management

• Provide technical advice & support to Production & Maintenance Departments
• Project management - planning & delivery of capital projects
• Management of budgets - capital & revenue budget projects
• Management of contractors involved with equipment installations & modifications
• Data analysis & problem solving to improve facility reliability & efficiency
• Provide technical support regarding safety & legal compliance of machinery
• Development & management of machine safety improvements, obsolescence replacement and refurbishment activities
• Specifications & procurement of goods & services to support shop performance
