To put it simply… you support production through maintenance and refurbishment of generating equipment. Based on the West Coast, you’ll be working across 6 hydropower stations, one of which is approximately 150m underground. Alongside your team of pros, you’ll maintain hydropower assets that have been operating for over 100 years!
As an Electrical Fitter, you will be…
✓ Supporting maintenance and condition monitoring activities,
✓ Providing mentoring and supervision to junior Technicians/Assistants and Apprentices,
✓ Performing basic operational activities and plant isolations,
✓ Participating in local area on call roster,
✓ Undertaking regular equipment inspection regimes,

As an Electrical Fitter on the West Coast, you’ll work a 4-day work week from Monday to Thursday! There is option to stay local (Tullah) or use available work vehicles when travelling from further away.
