Description:

If you are an Electrical Hardware Engineer professional looking to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Eden Prairie, MN location, you will join a global engineering and development team, designing and developing online and portable devices, for industrial process applications, including the following:

  • Vibration / spectral data acquisition, filtering, monitoring, and analysis
  • Pervasive industrial sensing
  • Wired and wireless data communications between devices and systems, including the use of radios and associated protocols
  • Field instrumentation configuration, calibration, and troubleshooting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

  • An ABET accredited engineering degree
  • Knowledgeable in microcontroller-based board level design, schematic entry, printed circuit board design and layout, and prototype verification and testing.
  • Experience with simulation and analysis tools
  • Analog to digital conversion, low noise signal conditioning and/or digital signal processing
  • Proven ability to solve technical problems
  • Proven ability to meet project schedules

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Support new product development
  • Specification and Concept Design
  • Architecture and Detailed Design
  • Implementation and Verification
  • Provide technical support to other cross-functional teams like user documentation, Product Support through the complete product lifecycle
  • Continuation engineering for existing products supporting both design and component issues
  • Evaluate & select new technologies and tools for to use in the development and maintenance of our products

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • Zero (0) – Two (2) or more years of experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
