Responsibilities:

The Electrical Instrument Technician is an exciting opportunity based at our Muja Power Station site.
Your main priority will be to perform routine maintenance on electrical, control and instrumentation plant, whilst providing technical support for activities relating to construction, upgrading and performance of existing plant.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Plan, organise and carry out fault finding, testing, commissioning and maintenance on electrical, control & instrumentation plant
  • Carry out technical inspection and prepare reports with recommendations in accordance with relevant standards and industry best practice guidelines
  • Assess and recommend modifications to electrical, control and instrumentation plant and operations/maintenance procedures
  • Assist with the assessment of electrical, control and instrumentation plant spares and material procurement and manage maintenance outage projects in accordance with budget and schedule targets whilst maintaining quality standards
  • Supervise, monitor performance, coordinate and check works carried out by staff, contractors and consultants and assist with the drafting of electrical, control and instrumentation scopes of work for refurbishment and outage activities, including issuing of Site Instructions, and generating Work Requests
