Description:

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Organize, perform and supervise the installation and repair of wiring, conduits, fixtures, and other electrical devices
- Collaborate and show leadership with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
- Delegate work to crew, ensure productivity, train for quality and efficiency, check for acceptability
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and safety
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues
-We are looking for a high character individual to be the face of the company on our most important jobsites, mentor the apprentices and drive the success of the project.
Experience:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification. Foreman and leadership experience is a must
- All applicants will be considered but preference given to those with 3+ years of experience as a foreman in a commercial setting
- Experience in training apprentices, planning and organization, working with subtrades and customers
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and ability to interpret schematics and shop drawings
- Experience in both renovating and new building electrical systems and construction methods
- Ability to think independently and work as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
