General DIY abilities

  • Knowledge and experience of all electrical plant including, but not limited to Air Handling Units and their associated controls, pumps, heat exchangers, boiler plant (excluding gas side pipe work and accessories)
  • Knowledge and experience of BMS control systems.
  • Knowledge and experience of all electrical installations, including wiring, testing, issuing written electrical test/minor works reports etc.
  • To maintain on site log books, permits & site paperwork insuring they are completed and up to date

Responsibilities:

ROLE IS PERMANENT AND IS 40 HOURS PER WEEK.

Our client base is Managing agents of commercial office blocks & industrial units, Retail & Student Accommodation.
We are now recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer, ideally with a facilities maintenance background.
Approved Electrical Apprenticeship is a minimum requirement.
Approved Electrician with 18th Edition Accreditation is a minimum requirement.
Testing & Inspection 2391 Cert would be beneficial to role.
This post will be based on a Mobile role, covering Predominantly Northwest.

SOME OF THE MAIN DUTIES FOR THE ROLE ARE:

  • General Electrical and HVAC plant maintenance
  • Maintenance / repairs / replacements of lighting / rewires /electrical testing and all general electrical duties and including all other duties including mechanical & plumbing on site.
  • Health and safety awareness.

The Electrical Engineer will be working as part of a mobile team, we are looking for someone who is flexible, works well as part of a team and is client-focused.
The callout rota is on a rotating cycle (roughly 1 in 8 weeks).
We are looking for candidate who has knowledge of electrical systems and over 5 years’ experience in similar Electrical / HVAC/ Maintenance Engineer type role.
Ideal candidates will come from a Facilities Maintenance background and worked in similar environment.
An immediate start is available for the right person.
