JOB PURPOSE

To ensure the optimal functioning and reliability of all electrical systems and equipment within the cement factory by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing effective solutions, while adhering to safety and industry standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Electrical Maintenance
• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including motors, transformers, power distribution panels, switchgear, PLC systems, and other plant electrical equipment.
• Monitor and ensure uninterrupted operation of electrical systems during production processes.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs
• Identify and resolve electrical malfunctions or failures in a timely manner.
• Analyze root causes of breakdowns and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Oversee emergency repairs and work to minimize downtime.
• Preventive and Predictive Maintenance
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools and predictive maintenance techniques to monitor equipment health and performance.
• Project Management
• Support the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with the project and maintenance teams to execute plant upgrades or modifications.
• Compliance and Safety
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations, including factory health and safety policies.
• Implement lockout/tagout procedures and other safety protocols during maintenance activities.
• Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, equipment performance, and spare parts usage.
• Prepare reports on equipment reliability, downtime, and maintenance activities.
• Team Collaboration
• Coordinate with other maintenance engineers and departments to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff or technicians.

  Pay: Up to AED8,000.00 per month
