Description:

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 4 years’ experience of undertaking a similar role within Maintenance environment.
  • APMP Practitioner.
  • Proficient in use of Excel.
  • Experience working with MMS systems - SAP (desired but not essential)
  • Electrical background with appropriate qualification (HNC or time served)
  • Sufficient and appropriate Maintenance Planning Engineer experience.
  • Sufficient and appropriate experience in Petrochemical, Power & Process Industry Sectors.
  • Previous experience working in electrical based role in above industry.
  • Experience in leading, motivating and performance management.
  • Experience of working in a high pressure multi deliverable environment.
  • Ability to drive and implement change and continuous improvement.
  • Fluency in excel to provide prompt accurate and regular information.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with all relevant parties to report accurate contract status

Responsibilities:

  • Produce programme of works and schedule for craftworkers
  • Responsible for planning of electrical work in adherence with required timescales
  • Manage and schedule remedial works within the agreed timeframe as per site procedures.
  • Programme report to client/management.
  • Anticipate problem areas regarding critical paths and advise remedial action.
  • Development and communication of resource / equipment requirements necessary to meet the demands of the project timescales.
  • Prepare work packs with detailed information of task and write permit to work
  • Arrange for access solutions where required for task and liaise with other trade supervisors to have jobs ready for execution.
  • To produce all necessary programmes at the appropriate times to reflect the overall contract requirements.
  • To monitor and update all programmes by relevant discussion with all relevant parties.
  • To predict and communicate critical path deviations to enable management to take corrective action.
  • To optimise the use of approved computer software packages to ensure accountabilities 1 - 3 are met.
  • To incorporate emergent works effectively into existing programmes.
  • Attend weekly schedule performance meetings with the team and track against KPI’s.
  • To report progress against programme on a regular basis and present disturbance and impact to the schedule caused by unforeseen delays within working week.
