Responsibilities:

The Electrical Maintenance Superintendent opportunity based at our Muja Power Station site.
The Electrical Maintenance Superintendent will provide leadership and supervision of the Electrical employees and contractors within the maintenance team, maximising team performance, ensuring employees and contractors are adequately skilled and competent to meet the day to day and long term safety, operational, asset management and financial requirements of Synergy.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Provide a workplace where the culture embraces value-adding, people-based safety and self-accountability.
  • Ownership of operational, safety and financial performance for the Electrical Maintenance team.
  • Planning interface, implementing, coordinating, and ensuring all Electrical work activities assigned within Maintenance are completed as per schedule.
  • Delegation, responsibility and empowerment to individuals within the team and legislative compliance and optimal asset life cycle performance.
  • Contribute to the develop of an optimal asset and maintenance strategy for MPS and collaborate effectively with the mechanical Superintendent and with the Engineering and Operations teams to provide first class Electrical services.
  • Take a lead role in the investigation of incidents that occur within the Electrical team, responsible to ensure causations and root causes are identified, and effective mitigation actions are put into place to prevent recurrence.
