WHAT YOUR EXPERIENCE LOOKS LIKE

• A Power System Designer with four years of professional experience, or an engineer holding a degree in electrical engineering.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
• Proficient with ETAP and SKM.
• Exceptional organizational skills and an ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to set up, program, and oversee testing of new and installed electrical equipment.
• Basic AutoCAD skills - capable of developing one-line diagrams and 2D drawings related to electrical power systems.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively as a team member in an engineering environment.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of software. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Prefer a minimum of (4) years of experience in the design of electrical power systems based on a solid understanding of the current National Electrical Code.A background in protective relay coordination and arc flash analysis would be very helpful in this role.
