THE ROLE
As an Electrical Production Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be part of an experienced and growing team, delivering complex engineering support to our many projects.
Day-to-day, the Production Engineer work scope entails producing production planning, risk assessments, supervision of technicians and engineering support for assembly, wiring and test activities on a variety of electrical and electronic assemblies, including reactor in-core inspection and safety circuit equipment.
- Undertaking the assembly and wiring of small electronic modules, boxes and units and electrical / electronic control and indication panels and cubicles
- Assembly of PCBs (Hand soldered through-hole PCB technology) and cable assemblies to IPC Standards – Training will be given to successful candidates.
- Test of Analogue Circuit PCBs and electrical equipment to approved test documentation including verification of test results.
- Support for on-machine wiring of electrical and electronic devices, including cable management and termination.
- Fault investigation and repair of analogue electronics equipment incorporating linear power supplies including step-by-step recording of the process.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based at our manufacturing site in Blaby.
