ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER
Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration, Product Design/Development and Software/Product Testing for highly regulated industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace. We are currently seeking a qualified Electrical Project Engineer to work on leading edge technology products. The successful candidate for this position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.
Location: Brampton, ON (Hybrid)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Computer, Electrical or Systems Engineering.
- Experience ECAD and CAD software for hardware design.
- Experience with PCB/CCA manufacturing cycle processes.
- Experience with MAIT coordination including:
- Generation of test plans and procedures
- Coordination of GSE and test facilities
- Previous experience of manufacturing and assembly practices.
- Experience in working with customers such as NASA JPL and Lockheed Martin on integrating avionics at their assembly, integration and test facilities.
- PMI/PMP certification.
- IPC Designer Certification and/or knowledge.
- Familiarity with the space environment.
- Experience with MS Project.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and co-ordinate day to day execution of program related work.
- Support Hardware design, EGSE design and MAIT teams with manufacturing.
- Identify and manage customer and program risks, including opportunities prioritization, mitigation, escalation and resolution.
- Support the Program Manager to meet the technical and schedule requirements within budget constraints of the program:
- Apply and organize assigned resources to execute the work scope
- Ensure shortages or conflicts are identified to the Program Manager
- Ensure ongoing project team coordination and communication
- Support program meetings with the customer to review technical activities, team activities, non-conformances, deviation and waivers and progress meetings.
- Support preparation for monthly program reviews and, as required, briefings to senior management to maintain visibility of the program throughout the organization.
- Coordinate intra project activities with System Engineering, Technical Leads and Back End resources (Production, Shipping, manufacturing, and Buyers).
- Experience with ERP system, configuration management of design, material handling (procurement and consignment) and contract deliverable.
