Electrical contracting company with 52 years experience currently has an opening for a Electrical Project Manager/Estimator/Operations Leader to join our team. Elhart’s Electric is a second generation electrical contracting company that has been working in and around Medicine Hat for over 50 years. We are a full service electrical contractor that provides all aspects of the electrical industry. Listed below are a few examples of our areas of expertise.
-Electrical contracting services for small, medium and large commercial and residential projects.
-Electrical service work and upgrades.
-Electrical design/drafting and implementation.
-Security system, camera and door access control system design and installation.
-Approved dealer/installer of Gemstone permanent lighting systems.
-Fire alarm system design, service, installation and yearly audit services.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager/Estimator/Operations Leader to oversee and manage all aspects of our electrical operations. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in construction, a passion for delivering excellence. As well as a desire to assist in the growth the the company.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as a supervisor and/or superintendent, beneficial
- At least 5 years experience in electrical project management and estimating of commercial and institutional projects (up to $5M)
- 10+ years in electrical industry, with a mix of field and management experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have estimated and/or managed projects in Alberta
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
- An electrical trade certification, electrical engineering degree or electrical technologist diploma/certificate.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team.
- Commercial design-build experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Enjoy working in a team environment and strive for overall success.
- Knowledge of blueprints, specifications, codes and regulations.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
