Due to our continued growth/success, we are looking for a suitably qualified Electrical QA Engineer to join our Renewables Team.

  • Full Time Permanent Role that is based on-site on a 5/2 (5 days on, 2 days off) roster
  • The base salary for this will be in the range of $90,000 - $110000 per annum

Responsibilities:

Due to our continued growth/success, we are looking for a suitably qualified Electrical QA Engineer to join our Renewables Team.

  • Full Time Permanent Role that is based on-site on a 5/2 (5 days on, 2 days off) roster
  • The base salary for this will be in the range of $90,000 - $110000 per annum.

The successful candidate’s responsibilities includes:

  • Manage multiple electrical drawings, plans and design from conception to completion of project.
  • Coordinating electrical activities with the on-site team, ensuring alignment with project timelines and requirements.
  • Procuring electrical consumables and switchgear to meet the specific needs of the site.
  • Introducing the plant and equipment organization, and facilitating coordination among different project disciplines.
  • Conducting risk assessment workshops, emphasizing safety in design and implementing safety work method statements and job hazard analysis assessments.
  • Developing scopes of work for plant and equipment procurement, and gaining an understanding of the technical evaluation process.
  • Overseeing the operation and maintenance of solar power plants, including the transmission and distribution networks, as well as managing the electrical systems within industrial facilities.
  • Analysing and interpreting electrical schematics for the construction of plant and equipment.
  • Performing assembly, installation, testing, calibration, modification, and repair of electrical equipment and installations in compliance with regulations and safety standards.
