Responsibilities:

Teys Australia is seeking a qualified Electrical Supervisor to join the Asset Management team based at our Rockhampton processing site in QLD.
Reporting to the Electrical & Automation Manager, this opportunity will enable and support site production through leading a repair and maintenance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing and assisting with electrical troubleshooting & maintenance tasks to ensure the safe, timely and cost-effective completion of work in accordance with Australian Standards and business policies & procedures.

Your daily core duties will include but not limited to:

  • Respond efficiently to breakdown conditions to minimise equipment/ production downtime.
  • Fault finding in motor control circuits.
  • Inspection, service, and repair of plant equipment.
  • Install, connect, disconnect, and isolate motors/equipment for maintenance.
  • Analysis causes of failures and implement preventative measures.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in timely and efficient manner.
  • Actively participate in safety initiatives and systems to ensure all work is carried out safely.

Other role requirements may include:

  • Develop the electrical specifications to establish standardisation of products and methodologies.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with suppliers, contractors, and external regulators.
  • Provide electrical knowledge input in capital projects.
