Description:
SEEKING ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER WITH 5+ YEARS OF SYSTEMS INTEGRATION EXPERIENCE TO SUPPORT AND LEAD APPLIED R&D AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Qualified Candidates will be able to support several (not necessarily all) of the following:
- Assess vehicle (e.g. aircraft, ground, remotely operated, etc.) requirements and develop relevant integrated system architectures
- Establish integrated system architectures which enable subsystem communication, power distribution, and control
- Develop integration plans, create interface control documents (ICDs), and track requirements against plans
- Collaborate with partners and team members to implement the required physical and logical system interfaces
- Perform hands-on implementation and troubleshooting of complex hardware and software integrations throughout various stages of the design and build
- Use of common embedded and industrial communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, 1553, UART, SPI, I2C, aircraft communications protocols, and Open Mission Systems
- Drive and support system trade studies, design, design reviews, integration, assembly, and test efforts
- Application of relevant electrical engineering and safety codes and standards

REQUIREMENTS
- Exclusive US citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university is required
- Minimum 5 years industry experience with systems design and integration
