Location: Rustington, BN16
Vacancy Type: Full-time, Temp/Contract (6 months).
Salary: £24 per hour subject to experience

JOB SUMMARY
Are you an Electrical Systems Technician, ready to play a key role in driving operational excellence across multiple military vehicle contracts for global leading vehicle integration organisation?
This challenging position involves the installation of bespoke MOTS/COTS electrical systems in support of both vehicle and survivability systems. Some bench manufacture of individual looms and bench modification of electro-mechanical sub-systems may also be required to support certain bespoke projects.

EXPERIENCE
- HNC/BTEC Diploma or equivalent in Automotive Systems installation and repair.
- Experience of low production manufacturing techniques and processes.
- An understanding of military specification radios and electrical sub-systems or similiar.
- An understanding of OEM automotive vehicle systems.
- An understanding of the impact of electromagnetic influence on electrical sub-systems and networks.
- Be able to apply system design electrical theory and electronic principles to sub-system faults.
Responsibilities:
- Support to the Companys production activities at NP Aerospace SV Limited sites,
- Hands on assembly of electrical looms including:
- Reading schematic drawings
- Managing BoMs
- Controlling stocks of electrical consumables
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to include lean manufacturing principles.
- Assist the Team leader on meeting performance-based outputs (KPIs).
- Assist, where required, the Electrical Design team on proto-type development of electrical and electro-mechanical sub-systems being embodied into our products.
