Description:
Responsibilities
- Liaise with immediete Supervisor & SHE Supervisor in any high risks work to be carried out.
- Maintain good Housekeping at end of work completion.
- Perform electrical equipment installation and maintenance work as per client’s electrical drawings and specification.
- Perform site inspection and testing of electrical equipment and installation.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair/rectify electrical equipment.
- Assist Electrical Supervisor to complete punch list and pre-commissoning work for electrical equipment and installatons.
- Comply with the site safety regulations and work permit procedures when carrying out the electrical works.
Requirements
- NTC-2 level or more in electrical/electronics engineering or secondary education or trade certificate, LEW certificate will be added advantage
- At least 3 years experience in process plant equipment
- Have the knowledge about material, such as conduits, fitting, cable, wires and others
- Familiar with electrical equipment, such as voltmeter, ammeter, IR-tester, ELCB tester, etc.
- Good practical knowledge of electrical safety practices
- Good knowledge of electrical schematic and control wiring diagrams.
- Understanding of fundamentals of hazardous area classification and ex-proof equipment
- Can do electrical work independently and also work as a team
